This relaxing bath soak for new mamas is the perfect way to unwind, relax and encourage healing.
Epsom salt helps relieve aches and pains, while helping to increase blood magnesium concentrations. Magnesium is useful in building and repairing tissue in the body. Himalayan and dead sea salts help to relieve tired muscles, improve inflammation and itching on the skin and reduce the pain and swelling of haemorrhoids. Lavender is useful in easing nervous tension, relieving pain, and inducing sleep. Sweet orange is a natural sedative, helping to alleviate stress, anger, anxiety and depression. It also provides effective relief from inflammation. Frankincense assists in the healing of wounds and induces a feeling of relaxation and sedation. Geranium balances hormones and helps calm and de-stress. Clary sage can help restore hormonal balance, while boosting confidence, mental strength and acts as a sedative for tense nerves.
